International Workshop on “Postharvest Loss in Fruits and Vegetables and Constraints on Farmers’ Access to Fertilizer’’

Speakers at a daylong workshop underlined the need for ensuring food security in order to provide relief to people in abject poverty. They were addressing the opening ceremony of the workshop styled as ‘Post Harvest Loss Assessment: A Study to Formulate Policy for Post harvest Loss reduction of Fruits and Vegetables and Socio Economic Uplift of the Stakeholders and Investigation of Constraints on Farmers Access to Fertilizer for Food Production’ organized as part of the research activities being implemented under the Research Grant Scheme of the national Food Policy Capacity Strengthening Programme ( NFPCSP) held at the TSC conference hall.
